Two plans in Palma de Mallorca from a boutique hotel

Let us start with two plans we recommend for July, inviting you to discover Palma de Mallorca while staying at our boutique hotel, Posada Terra Santa.

A day in town

Kick off the day enjoying our breakfast and building up your strength for an unbeatable morning of shopping. Let yourself be drawn in by the shop windows on Calle San Miguel, while walking towards the Plaza Mayor of Palma de Mallorca.

From there, walk towards Calle Unión and Avenida Jaime II, where we suggest you take a break and enjoy an aperitif on the roof terrace of Hotel Almudaina and then finish your shopping spree in Calle Colón and Calle Jaime II.

It is almost lunch time now. There is nowhere else better for a lunch with a view to the sea than Portixol. There are many options to choose from in this port, though we have a soft spot for two of them: Restaurante Club Nautico Portixol o el Restaurante Club Náutico Molinar. After enjoying sobremesa, a must of Spanish culture which boils down to relaxing while enjoying lively conversation at the table after your meal, why not enjoy the sunset from the pool on our roof terrace?

After your shopping trip, surely you want the perfect place to show off your new outfit! Perhaps dinner at our restaurant La Despensa del Barón or at Restaurante Gaudeix would be the perfect occasion. And what is the best way to bring the perfect day to an end? Live jazz music at Hotel Saratoga to end the night.

Road trip across the north of the island

A new day has dawned in Palma de Mallorca. After a revitalising sleep in our boutique hotel, it is time to get ready for the new day: a road trip that will take you to the secret corners of the island.

First stop: Banyalbufar, where you will find Torre des Verger, offering one of the most breathtaking views of the island.

Now that you are here, why not go to Celler Ca’n Pico to taste their famous Malvasía wine?

After enjoying a glass of wine (remember, you still have to drive!), head towards your new destination: Valldemossa. Get lost in the streets until you arrive at Sa Foganya, where you can enjoy an almond granizado or slush.

Now enjoy a slow drive with views of the sea ahead, while listening to the music of local artists such as L.A., until you reach one of the most singular spots of this road trip: the Deia cemetery. An interesting place where, in rigorous silence and with all due respect, you will find the tomb of illustrious people like Robert Graves.

You will find the perfect place for lunch in Cala Deià: at Restaurante Cas Patro March you will enjoy true Mediterranean cuisine.

Relax in the cove before heading back. However, if you love live music, there is somewhere you need to stop by first: Café Sa Fonda in Deià.

End your day with a relaxing massage in the Wellness Area of our boutique hotel Posada Terra Santa.
