Our care for the product has made La Despensa del Barón one of the most emblematic restaurants in the center of Palma de Mallorca and the favorite meeting point for locals, with a Spanish cuisine that opts for Mediterranean renewal featuring robust ingredients with local touches from the Mallorcan fields to the table.
It is a place within an ideal Spanish kitchen for tasting delights and sharing among friends: tapas, portions, and main dishes, in a unique setting under the pointed Gothic arches of the Barony of the Boixadors from the 16th century.

La Despensa del Barón features a wine list that includes several national but primarily local appellations and an intimate space reserved for private dinners. End your night with a drink in the English Salon, enjoying the scent of jasmine and orange blossom from the medieval courtyard or under the starlight on the rooftop.

Regarding gastronomy, the restaurant offers a menu of honest Mediterranean cuisine that highlights local Mallorcan products. Open to the public from Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner, this space is bursting with history as it is located under the five Gothic arches uncovered during the building’s restoration. It is also the venue for the hotel’s acclaimed à la carte breakfasts featuring fruits purchased daily at the nearby Mercat de L’Olivar, deli meats from Mercat de Pere Garau, and sobrasada and camaiot from Llorenç Cerdà in the town of Porreres.
